Trevor A. Moss
Chief Executive Officer

PE, MSc, BSc (Hons)

Trevor Moss has over 30 years of experience in the international mining industry. Mr. Moss is a corporate and project development executive who has worked for major mining companies such as Barrick, Newmont and Cyprus Amax, and with emerging producers including Tiberon Minerals and Gabriel Resources. Prior to joining African Eagle, he was responsible for the construction, completion and successful start up of the Bisha mine in Eritrea, as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Canadian TSX and AMEX-listed Nevsun Resources Limited.
Mr. Moss has held directorships and corporate officer positions in several public companies and the positions of CEO and director in a number of private companies. Currently, he sits on the board of FGBI LLC, a private US resource company, and is director and president of HAWM Consulting Inc. He is a registered engineer in the US State of Arizona and holds an MSc in Civil Engineering from Arizona State University and an Honours degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Bradford in the UK.
David Newbold
Chief Financial Officer

David Newbold has 35 years experience in the natural resources industry and has an excellent track record in the development, financing, risk mitigation, governance and operation of natural resource businesses globally. Prior to joining African Eagle in July 2012, Mr Newbold has held a number of executive and senior positions at Compañia Minera Zaldívar, Placer Dome Inc., Outokumpu Group Oyj, Mercury Resource Consultants LLP and Greystar Resources Limited (renamed Eco Oro Minerals Corporation in August 2011).
 
Most recently, he was CFO at Greystar Resources, during which time he was responsible for the strategic design of a financing package, embracing debt, equity and strategic partners, to fund a US$1.4 billion gold project in Colombia. He was also the President and CEO of Compañia Minera Zaldívar, a large copper operation in Chile. During his 11 year career at Placer Dome his last role, as Senior Vice President Projects, was specifically focused on the corporation’s global capital projects with Mr Newbold being accountable for advancing projects which exceeded US$4 billion in value to development recommendations. Mr Newbold is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) from the University of East Anglia, England.
John McDonald
Manager, Tanzanian Operations

John McDonald is a Chartered Geologist with 34 years experience in the industry. He is a specialist in geological field programmes, photogeology, satellite image interpretation and regional reviews. John has extensive experience of resource evaluation, mining and exploration geology, and geotechnical studies. His expertise covers epithermal, shear zone and greenstone gold deposits; stratabound polymetallic sulphides; non-metallic minerals; coal and uranium. He also has extensive experience of oil and gas exploration in frontier areas, including numerous regional reviews. Mr. McDonald has been both project manager and team leader on field and office based exploration projects in Ghana, Botswana, Mozambique, the UAE, the Falkland Islands, Brazil, USA and on the UK continental shelf.
Aidan Schoonbee
Project Director, Dutwa

IPM Project Management Professional 
Aidan Schoonbee is a qualified extractive metallurgist with over 20 years experience. His career began in plant operations, moving up through the challenges of project commissioning and operations management roles into full time project management. Prior to joining African Eagle, he was the Senior Project Manager for Debswana Diamond Company on their Morupule Colliery Expansion in Botswana where he managed the project from feasibility study through to operation. With a strong focus on cost and schedule control, along with a technical attention to detail, Mr. Schoonbee completed the Morupule feasibility study, which then enabled Debswana to successfully secure debt financing. He then delivered the completed project on plan and within budget. He has also held management roles within Debswana's Diamond Division for Wexford Goldfields Ltd., Golden Star Resources and De Beers Centenary.
Dr.Chad Czerny
Project Manager (Metallurgy),Dutwa Nickel Project

Dr. Chad Czerny is an extractive metallurgist with more than 20 years technical and management experience in metallurgical R&D testwork and process development programmes for scoping and bankable feasibility studies. Over the past 15 years, Dr Czerny has specialised in the metallurgy of nickel laterites, working in BHP Billiton's global technology group between 2006 and 2009, and at SGS Lakefield Oretest's laboratory and hydrometallurgy pilot plant in Perth (Western Australia) from 1997 to 2006. He has commissioned and operated pilot plants for pressure acid leaching, heap and tank leaching, and the production of nickel cobalt intermediates, including an integrated atmospheric leach, resin-in-pulp and elution pilot plant for treating nickel laterite ores at BHP Billiton's Newcastle Technology Centre (New South Wales). He has also worked on the development of treatment processes for ores from many of the world's best known nickel laterites operations, including Ravensthorpe, Niquel do Vermelho, Cawse, Bulong, Weda Bay, San Felipe, Marlborough, Soroako, Mt. Margaret and Murrin Murrin.
Mark Davey
Exploration Manager Tanzanian Operations

Mark is a qualified mineral exploration geologist with more than 24 years experience in precious and base metal exploration. He has extensive knowledge in designing and implementing large scale, cost effective exploration programmes though out various regions in the world and more specifically Africa where he has been working for the last 16 years. His main field of expertise lies in the exploration and resource elevation of shear host gold mineralisation, polymetallic sulphides and nickel laterites. He has been involved in projects in a managerial capacity in Australia, UK, Europe and a number of countries in eastern and central Africa.
